How to Learn Data Entry

1. Master Excel and Google Sheets - formulas, sorting, filtering and cleanup.
2. Build speed and accuracy - aim for 50+ words per minute with near-zero errors.
3. Practice data cleaning - removing duplicates, fixing formats and standardising records.
4. Learn a CRM - HubSpot or Zoho, since much data entry feeds a CRM.
5. Build a small portfolio - sample cleaned datasets you can show.
6. Start taking gigs - entry-level jobs on Upwork and Fiverr.
